Jolie Jenkins Instagram – HIIIIIIEEEEEEEEE omg friends, I’m sorry I’ve been such a stranger! These past couple weeks I have been so busy:
* Catching puke in my bare hands (Hugo had a stomach virus 😩)
* Practicing how to fake-choke in an audition (and subsequently receive an imaginary Heimlich maneuver) SEE POST ABOVE 🎥
* Making lunches no one eats
* Making dinners people kinda sometimes eat
* Asking people to sit down while they eat
* Wishing like hell I could sit down while I eat
* Vacuuming areas where people ate while standing up
* Finding Wordle joy
* Doing @theclass whenever possible
* Cultivating deep self-love (turns out this needs to be an ongoing endeavor)
* Weeping over the deep love I have for my children
* Weeping over the deep frustration I have that one won’t sleep past 5am
* Weeping over how parenthood can be so magical and also just so freaking boring and no one talks about that
* Sneaking away to work on the Wordle
* Dragging people to the library when they’d rather be on the iPad
* Cajoling people to put on socks, shoes, clothes, and brush their MF teeth
* Doing alien robot voices for voiceover auditions
* Attempting to shed old ideas of Where I Thought I Should Be By Now and get on board with The Actual Now
* Working to get off Instagram more
* Recognizing the irony of posting all of this on Instagram
