In those moments, I’m reminded of the small town girl from Kentucky who followed the voice of God (even though I couldn’t explain that at the time), & made history. I’m reminded that my representation matters. I’m reminded that God positioned me perfectly so I can continue to do what I love over 20 years later & make at least one person smile with my art. I’m reminded that I have genuine love and support around me within my circle, & I know they have pure intentions because my answered prayer to God is to remove and shield me from those who don’t. Please PLEASE know that if I can do it, so can you! There is not a single dream you should give up on just because the path doesn’t look easy or familiar. God sets us apart to elevate us, & that is where we can change the trajectory of our lives forever. Be steadfast and unmovable.
