Is anyone else as obsessed with Monishka as I was while watching Yaadein?! I love how she represented the “modern woman” in contrast to Ishika’s more traditional character. Monishka is a person who was born into wealth and is therefore used to getting what she wants. She isn’t afraid to speak her mind or to shy away from topics that others might find uncomfortable. She is also very stylish and can go from one minute to looking like Audrey Hepburn into dressing like a Spicegirl in the very next one.. What I loved the most about her character though was how much empathy and understanding she had for others: she stayed classy and true to herself until the very end! 👏🏾
