2004, august 22nd , on the day of ‘Grihapravesham’ of our villa in Coimbatore and after 2 years I did my debut in #Chakkaramuthu , age, and looks didn’t matter , willingness to experiment, work hard and preparedness to fail did the trick, I guess❤️
I was going thru menopause, and had severe joint pain, my weight added to it, my mood swings were in the worst form, but the creativity around me excited me and I got involved .
Very important to keep the fire on guys, otherwise once the children are on their own , the vacuum shatters us.

Today is #KaradayaNombu , when we are mature and stable, it is v easy to brush these rituals aside as formalities. But, though there are some gender issues in the ritual, I personally drew lot of strength from the belief, when I was an insecure, chronically anxious adult😊

This course gave me a broader perspective to issues that I am already familiar with and also insight into the actual situation of millions of underprivileged, oppressed women around the world, the condition of those living in war zones and refugee camps is even more of a concern!
