Lauren Collins Instagram – Tips for toddlers wearing glasses if you’ve got ‘em! A few months ago we realized Charlie’s left eye wasn’t aligning properly. After confirming he has strabismus (lazy eye!) I was shocked to find out he would need to start wearing glasses immediately ALL THE TIME. Like… how was that going to work? He won’t even wear pants most of the time. One week in and he’s already a pro. I’m constantly amazed by how adaptable these little ones are. It’s gonna be a long road ahead of patching and possible surgery but I’m so proud of our little Charlie Lipnicki. “Did you know the human head weighs eight pounds?” ❤️❤️❤️
Lauren Collins Instagram – This summer I left Charlie for the *first* time to go to Newfoundland and shoot an episode of @hudsonandrex. I was nervous and scared and worried that I’d be so preoccupied with missing him I wouldn’t enjoy the experience. Lucky for me, waiting on the ground in St John’s was this group of amazing women. The episode takes place at a women’s wilderness retreat and that is exactly what it felt like we were doing! We talked breastfeeding, wellness, SKINCARE (!!!!!) and it was SO MUCH FUN. Thrilled I got the chance to know these wonderful ladies and be reunited with director Eleanore Lindo, one of the first female directors I ever worked with at age 14!
