Lesli Margherita Instagram – #fbf Theater kids, ur Aunti Lesli wants u to know the struggle never ends. It was a crap audition/future career (not life- keep them separate) week for me even though I was working with amaze peeps (!) which is rare enough…I shouldn’t complain lol. BUT we are actors so… This pic showed up on my time hop today- I had just won a freakin Olivier award, hiii Brit Tony, I couldn’t believe it and thought “ooh NOW things will change!” Nope. It took SO many auditions and YEARS until I booked a Bway show. The self doubt was REAL YO. *side note- the Bway is NOT the end all but whatevs Even after that major high… I am STILL TANKING auditions haaaaaa. Or, NOT tanking, I’m rad, but “it’s not going further ” the hell? 🙄 cc: @orfeh I guess I just want to say that if ur going thru it- no matter where u are or what u do…it’s weirdly comforting to know that we ALL go thru it, even if it seems like (on the social meeds) everyone else has it better than u. Breathe, keep going, lean on ur friends. It’s tough. But good stuff happens. This pic reminded me of that. Our hard work DOES pay off, we just might not see that in the moment. I am giving u (and moi) permission to raise le middle finger to all who say no to u today. Because someone will say YAAAAAS when it matters the most.❤️👑
