Flew in to LA to attend the @queerty awards for which I was nominated #innovatoroftheyear (congrats @ryanoconn 😘)

Of course, @jagatt and I did it OUR WAY! We showed up to LAX with no clothes or shoes and planned to find something fucking fresh in the Fashion Districts best kept secret: Santee Alley 🤣

Shout out to @shopchikas for the inspirational top that I built this creation off of. When I told Jess that I was gonna get some leather leggings and a belt with a train she looked at me like “😳” I was like, “Girl, that is a dope fucking look.” And she was like, “Yea but we only have like 3 hours…do you think you’re gonna find all that?”
.
I got it in less than 2 hours. She got hooked up with her tux next door, we were whisked away to a tailor around the corner, ran to Bloomingdale’s to grab some shoes and we were at the hotel by 4:30pm
.

She gave me my first blow out and ponytail (!!) since my #bigchop (check out my progress over @fournaturalshair)
And my face was beat down by my friend and the best to evaaaaaa do it @beautybyerick 😘😘😘

It was my first night out and it was amazing to be in my community and celebrate us. And Jess, I’m over the moon to have you by my side 😘
