I did this magic little ceremony for the first time going into 2020. Instead of one year, I did the past decade. I accomplished A LOT. I also took a lot of hits, many many lessons. At the end of my ceremony, I realized I needed to slow down. My intention for the new decade was to go slow… 3 months later we ALL had the same assignment. And while you can’t control people places and things, you CAN control your attitude about them. I credit my ceremony for why I’ve been able to keep a cool head about our current situation. My intention in the slowness was to practice checking in with myself before agreeing to things impulsively, to say ‘no’ more often, to be intentional with who and how I used my immense and intense energy. I went into depth on the steps in a LIVE for the @fournaturalshair FB group this week.
