The talk was spear-headed by conservation PhD candidate @merynomsa (Merlyn Nkomo) from my One Woman’s Legacy scholarship fund who engaged with the girls on why their conservation dreams are valid. “Follow your dreams because they guide you to your next step. They are your compass,” she advises. From different social background groups both Merlyn and I hope to see leaders growing in the One Woman’s Legacy, a program tailored to enhance postgraduate student’s academic journey driven to make the planet a better place.
