Before dozing off, I just wanted to share an interesting piece of news I came across –

The Avadi Police Commissionerate in Tamilnadu will observe International Women’s Day by delegation of power to its women officers – means all police stations under Avadi police commissionerate will be headed by women for a day.

This is a step to recognise, honour, celebrate and cherish the role of women in uniform 👮

This is perhaps the first time it’s happening in India & I hope the trend continues 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
