So, this is it. The final one. This song wasn’t even supposed to be written.
I remember we were in the studio with my producer @gabrielgebermusic and we were about to finish up the session for ‘First Time’, when I turned to him and said: bro, I feel like there’s something in the air, can we try some stuff out?
We decided to stay and I sat on the piano with the word ‘Liar’ in my head.
I started to play and it simply flowed. The rhythm was there, the chords came instantly, the production came naturally and we recorded it the same night.
When I tell you that this song represents the album perfectly, I mean it.
The combination of power, vulnerability, desperation and hope closes this circle in the most genuine way. One my favorites and one of my most important ones.
