This is probably the song where I’m showing myself the most vulnerable.
It’s another song that basically wrote itself, only this time I did the arrangement, production and vocal recording by myself, which kinda makes it even more special to me. I decided to document the writing process for the second verse and finished the song that day. I had of course help by the great @gabrielgebermusic who helped me with the drums and final mixing steps and also @johannes_roemer who helped me record the piano and also played on this track. Special@thanks to @antjeschomaker for letting me record the vocals on your mic in your living room.
Music is about a collective and sharing experience. I feel like, when you manage to bring something to life exactly how you imagine it, it’s truly magical.
I’m very proud of this song, and it’s probably the one that needs the most protection and nourishment.
So, if you’ve ever felt like this, know your buddy NT has been through it, which means you will too.
Although at that time it felt so overwhelming, looking back, I’m so grateful I experienced this, because this song simply wanted to be written i just happened to be the one who heard it first.
