Candice Patton Instagram – Found out recently my vitamin D levels were so low thanks to my doctor who had a sneaking suspicion. Normal levels are around 30. I was at an 8! 😱 Vitamin D deficiency can cause mood changes (depression and anxiety), bone loss, bone and joint pain, and fatigue. I’m now on prescription level vitamin D and prioritizing soaking up the California sun when I can. ☀️🥰 ( also sneaking salmon back in my diet) Did you know the more melanin in your skin the harder it is for you to synthesize vitamin D from the sun?
