Dakota Fanning Instagram – The world lost the greatest man I’ve ever known on September 7, 2021. My grandfather, Rick Arrington. I didn’t call him any nickname for grandfather, instead I called him Jack, and he called me Jack. Always. Never anything else. I don’t want anyone else to call me Jack, but I’ll miss it more than anything I think. His list of accomplishments are almost too amazing to believe. Personally, he was a lover of animals, especially cats. A lover of golf, a scratch golfer. A lover of cigars and my Gaba’s cooking. He is my hero. I’ll live every day to honor him and make him proud. A little calico kitty came by this particular gravestone a few minutes after his funeral ended. The kitty purred and let all of our family pet them. A message from him, no doubt. I’m seeing them all Jack, and I’m listening. I love you always, until I see you again.
