Jillian Murray Instagram – I’ve been struggling to find a good use of this space in my house when I don’t have a Christmas tree there. Because it’s in front of my glass door I had to find something that had purpose and also allowed light in. I decided to partner with my favs at @gdfstudio again and started with a swing chair because when it’s time to put the 🌲 back up I can just click it off. And it’s the perfect chair to let light through with its open weave design. I also knew I wanted to add some big plants in the space to match the outdoors so I picked the trendy monstera plant and the eucalyptus tree (because of Australia). The mirror really grabbed my attention because of the brass detail that feels very luxurious. Since I wanted to keep everything brass in that corner I needed a solution for the silver chain the chair came with, so I wrapped around a green vine that lights up at night by @lightsdotcom
I’m so happy with how this space turned out and I’m shocked at how much I actually use this swing. This may be my favorite place in the house now. | Posted on 18/Mar/2022 21:24:13
