Lisa Vanderpump Instagram – UKRAINE FUNDRAISER 🇺🇦 We are deeply saddened to see the horrible devastation families in Ukraine have faced in the past weeks, including the serious impact to dogs and wildlife. As many of you know, a lot of people either had to leave their dogs behind, or have fled in an effort to escape with their dogs in hand. These dogs in Ukraine are in desperate need of medical attention, food and other crucial necessities. In addition, all local shelters are overwhelmed with overcrowding due to the amount of dogs that have been left behind, and there are people putting their own lives at risk in order to take their dogs with them or stay with them. You may know one of our vets, Andrew, @thenomadvet , from our Instagram or #VanderpumpDogs show – he is currently on the ground at the Poland/Ukrainian border, helping save & treat as many of these animals as possible! So far, a lot of the dogs he’s evaluated haven’t eaten in days and due to the below freezing temperature, most of the animals have hypothermia. Therefore, they are heat stabilizing, giving fluids and food, providing warm clothing and are being treated for wounds. Everyone that Andrew is treating is being given a bag of transportable goods of food, collapsible bowls, carriers, essential accessories & warm clothing to take with them. We are so proud of his efforts and we are currently donating to, and trying to raise as many funds as possible to help him! Andrew is working with the amazing @ifawglobal Ukraine chapter, who are on the ground making a massive impact with these dogs and animals in the Ukraine. We will be donating, as well as 100% of the funds we raise through the Ukraine link in our bio directly to their Ukraine chapter, for anyone else who wants to help.
