A spellbinding performance from @navyanair143 – her Radhamani is up there along with George Kutty., in the fact that she makes you believe in her struggles, her everyday pressures, her closeknit family where women abound in numbers but they have to depend on men to solve their problems, and in this rare huge call for strength, they prove their might. Radhamani’s grit is matched by the firm & feisty Vinayakan, who arrests your vision on him every time he appears – his SI role will be remembered for a long time! The helplessness of the lower income group, the corrupt systems and the way a hapless woman can fight back if she has courage and truth on her side, which also shows up in the form of some good souls who help her, forms a compelling narrative. SureshBabu who has written the film takes a real life incident and spins a screenplay which is at once immersive and expansive, which is a tale of an ordinary woman and that of a Warrior. #navyanair shines in this role, specially in the scenes where she is seen doing the house chores and interacting (read managing) every single member of her family, picking up every phone call, doing every errand, looking after both children & other family members and believing in the general goodness of life, up until the point when this jewelry shop owners cheat her. Her righteousness combined with Vinayakan’s need to be useful in his uniform make for a climax which is applause-worthy. @vkprakash61 what a film this one is – the music by @gopisundar__official adding to the beautifully realistic visuals and the scale of the film, the #kochi landscape which is so wonderfully filmed become a character to this true story.
