Saniya Iyappan Instagram – Scribblings from my First Solo Trip — Part 3 (Last one, I swear) Gappuji, with his usual charm and infectious laughter, consoled me, “You’ve done really well for a first-timer”. I could find myself struggling to tame the deep snow and even balance myself on the snowboard. But, I had these two beautiful souls — Gappuji and Amritji — who kept pushing me to bring out my best. I’ve never been an avid adventure seeker, but this newfound spirit was inside me when I tried snowboarding and snow skating. I’m not sure if it was purely because of accomplishing my first solo trip ever. Away from my comfort zone, I was reinventing myself. After repeated attempts, I succeeded. In that scenic backdrop, straight out of a painting, the snow embraced me. The cold winds became a breeze, and I found my balance and cruised through the snow-clad mountains. All I could say is I’m just grateful for having had the privilege of meeting so many people who went out of their way to help me. I’m entirely thrilled after my first solo trip experience and looking forward to many more. Once again, I thank the universe for such a memorable trip.
