Shenaz Treasurywala Instagram – I am at Coachella Music & Arts Festival which has returned after 2 years because of Covid. Today I want to show you the art at Coachella. Pic 1. I’m standing under La Gaurdian: This one provides strength, protection and love, looking after refugees around the world. Pic 2. Circular Dimensions: Wait till I show you the reel with the 2 DJ making live tracks on either side of the dome. Pic 3. The Mutts: We can learn a lot from dogs- joy, lust for life, loyalty, affection. The dog silhouettes are built with steel frames and filled with a variety of colorful plants- i love this one most because it’s recyclable and it has plants growing out of it so it is giving life as well as art!!! Pic 4. The Windmill, The Igloo- this one depicts different cultures and peple, regardless of age or background coming together at the festival. Pic 5. The Playground: provides with four 42- to 56-foot steel towers with benches and piazzas connected by skybridges. It is in the center of Coachella and is a good meeting spot. Pic 6. This seven-story, multi-colored spiral tower known as “Spectra” has been at Coachella since 2018, and we festivalgoers walk the spiral stairway to the viewing deck at the top of the structure for a 360° view of the festival. Pic 7. The Cocoon – imagine when people look up and marvel at a spaceship as it landed. Also imagine music is the common language of communication between the aliens and us.
