Azita Ghanizada Instagram – 💔 The Chaos at #Kabul airport continues. Civilian flights were grounded and cancelled. Military evacuation only. There are 1000s of Afghan citizens trying desperately to get somewhere safe with no way to board a plane. The @deptofdefense has control of the runway and I hear will be operating missions til August 31st per @potus instruction. But these are for people that worked with the the government. High risk women, artists, lgbtqi that don’t have the documentation can not escape this new terror regime and get to safety.
Please call and text your reps and ask them to keep air space open and civilian flights operating again. They may be planning on it – but we don’t know anything.
