Chris, you were the most loved, best friend, biggest hearted man. I hesitate to share this on social media, but deeply want everyone who loved you to keep telling our stories about you. We are a community of storytellers & so many of our great stories were with you. Where do I start? Your generosity was endless, just this August you bought Travis’s little brother Lyric a bike so he had a way to & from his first job at Starbucks. I said he didn’t need such a fancy bike & you said you wanted to change his day – you’d never even met him. . You were the first Person to call when anyone was sad, hurt or needed advice. You were one of the few to reach out when everything was happening in Afghanistan. When we lost Dave in July, our Dime fam got together and toasted him, held space for each other and spoke about how we wished he could see all the love in the room. You said you wished you did more. Did you know how important you were to everyone? You ran lines with me in your GQ office when I first started auditioning, you held my hair when I got sick after partying all night in our early 20s. We laughed at Kacey, for being the most ridiculous/Best person in the world. We threw it down & started trouble at 40 deuce, The Dime & every other place in between. You took me on fancy friend dates when we were in NYC at the same time. We honored your mom every Mother’s Day. You loved your family, and your friends like they were family. You tough loved the shit out of me. And you made time for everyone, you had more friends than any person I know. There’s a million stories we all have. You were the star, the rock, the heart and soul of all them. There’s a big gaping hole in so many hearts now. 20 years was not enough. And even though we sent you a photo on Christmas, it wasn’t enough, I know you were surrounded by endless love & support, but now I’m the one who wishes she did more. You are so loved Chrissy, and we will continue to tell your story. Be free 💔🤍🕊 #hoover
Tis’ the season🥂🎄❤️ Earlier this week @pendrywesthollywood For @hmerrick tree lighting ✨
Excuse me? Choosing to demonize any nation & its people who have suffered at the hands of autocrats, war mongers, and conflict is so incredibly harmful. We must not forget, that Afghans, including my family, fled a peaceful Afghanistan when the Soviets invaded. That invasion is what led to decades of conflict, violence, instability, occupation. This narrative, is what makes people turn away at the suffering of some. As if, anyone from Iraq or Afghanistan, or anyone anywhere, deserves (or we should accept) violence and bloodshed thrust onto them. Afghans have been watching everything unfold in horror, standing with Ukraine, its people and President Zelensky. What we are witnessing is terrifying, and we deeply understand the suffering and trauma that comes with war. Afghans stand with Ukrainians. Repost @monaeltahawy
Tonight‼️ Time to say goodbye to a group of friends, collaborators, co-workers with big hearts. A wonderful experience with terrific scene partners who held me up graciously through a couple traumatic weeks filming. And kept teaching me weekly when I was invited to play with them. Thanks to the writers for letting me portray an Afghan – American girl, modestly traditional and not religious. Just a girl on a broadcast television sitcom who happens to be Afghan, and pretty proud of it. It was a delight to meet and work with so many afghans on screen & in the writers room! And to be given the chance to break out my dance moves at wrap! And that, that’s a wrap on #UnitedStatesofAl! Series finale 830pm @cbstv , and available tomorrow @paramountplus 📺

All new episode of @usofalcbs and clearly I know how to party, and celebrate football ⚽️, it’s like college all over again without the boiler makers. Just kidding this is a PG show, and I never did that it. Ugh, zip it Azita. 🤐. See you tonight 830pm @cbstv tomorrow on @paramountplus Repost• @usofalcbs We’d say pull up a chair for tonight’s new #UnitedStatesofAl, but Ariana has proven that seats are totally optional.
