Long post but meaningful โฆ.
This Friday Iโm so very grateful for all my hard work finally coming into fruitionโฆ
For those who have followed my journey into medicine it has been a ๐ข ride, amongst the blessings , Iโve had my fair share of detours with life changing personal losses that turned my life upside down but despite it all I never gave upโฆ
Iโm PROUD to say I will have fulfill all my requirements by 2022, passed all my boards and will walk in two weeks ๐ฉ๐ปโ๐๐๐ฝ๐
I also am elated to say I will get to continue doing funded research with my amazing mentor at UPenn. #TeamWerthit
I was selected to receive the Penn Dermatology ECuRE Scholarship summer research fellowship and Iโm so very grateful. โค๏ธ
As well as I was recipient of the SID travel grant to present my research at @SocInvestDerm 2022 annual meeting in Portland ( my first in person since 2019 *excited*). I look forward to this next chapter and coming year of amazing research ๐ฌ๐
I share all this because I have fallen so many times in this journey BUT Iโve never given up. I got back up and continue fighting for my dreams. So I hope this inspires others.
