It’s never easy, she’s what I’ve discovered is called a “Spirited Child” (which should be in the every day parent vernacular!). But it’s the difficulties that make it rewarding, as cliche as that may sound. Her exuberance, her sharp perception, her Uber sensitivity, her rapid-fire mood swings, her empathy, her obsessions….she hears everything louder, feels everything more, and her heart is as big as the sea.
