Pavithra Lakshmi Instagram – Story of my earing, long read ahead!! But I thought this one deserved a write up Have you ever lost something and cried for days thinking you ve lost it forever? Definitely yes right. We all loose things(and people) and cry badly or grieve bad thinking we can never have that back and suddenly somehow with your searching or by luck you find it back in your life, you feel everyinch of you renewed and happy that you have found it back and you promise to yourself that no matter what you will protect it with your life and never loose it again! But lemme ask you something! If we had taken care of it before it went missing, we would not have missed it in the first place. Because not everyone gets a second chance! So stop validating things(or people) after they are lost, and do it when they are present right there. This little boy in the pic, the pair of earrings that I really value, and valued a lot! There were days when it’s stung the back of my ear, there are outfits that this one doesn’t go with (That’s me trying to metaphorically tell that we had good and bad days) But the moment I knew I lost one of them, he costed three days of crazy searching every nook and corner of everywhere I ve been, he costed me a couple of sleepless nights and then TADAAA!! he appears from underneath my bed cot, trust me I was so breathless that I didn’t know how to react and started crying! Kept this one wrapped up nice and secure. So what I was trying to convey is that not always we find things that we loose, so instead of crying over lost ones have them secure when they are still there.
