Now I’ll share with you what I have learned from the lectures on Richard Branson’s island and what I will apply in my life. 1. I’ll switch to organic food I was terribly scared of GMO foods, so I decided to make at least 50% of my meals organic. I will ask the chef to buy organic food and go to farmers’ markets myself. 2. I’ll continue to refuse single use plastic I have a very tough relationship with the environment. I act just like "I do what I can and what is comfortable for me." But now on Fridays I will have a day without plastic. I will challenge myself and will share how it goes with you in stories. 3. I’ll carry a notebook with me to write down ideas Richard always carries a notepad or notebook, and I usually write my thoughts on the phone. But in the flow of notes, all ideas get lost because I never reread them. So, I’ll try to start a paper version of the diary. 4. I’ll take time for myself in the morning When Richard wakes up, the first thing he does is eat a delicious and healthy breakfast, go in for sports, and only then he gets to work. I have it the other way around. At first I work, and after it I do my personal stuff in the evening. So I'll try Richard's system. Leave in the comments which point you’ll apply in your life. For me, the most relevant points now are the first and fourth one 👌 Necker Island

Every time I go through any training, I try not only to get information, but also immediately apply it in my life. Now I’ll share with you what I have learned from the lectures on Richard Branson’s island and what I will apply in my life.

1. I’ll switch to organic food

I was terribly scared of GMO foods, so I decided to make at least 50% of my meals organic. I will ask the chef to buy organic food and go to farmers’ markets myself.

2. I’ll continue to refuse single use plastic

I have a very tough relationship with the environment. I act just like “I do what I can and what is comfortable for me.” But now on Fridays I will have a day without plastic. I will challenge myself and will share how it goes with you in stories.

3. I’ll carry a notebook with me to write down ideas

Richard always carries a notepad or notebook, and I usually write my thoughts on the phone. But in the flow of notes, all ideas get lost because I never reread them. So, I’ll try to start a paper version of the diary.

4. I’ll take time for myself in the morning

Polina Pushkareva Instagram – Are you an immigrant? You can and YOU WILL BE SUCCESSFUL
⠀
Tap-tap like❤️
⠀
People I meet in my life and at events are 30%+ immigrants. A lot of them are extremely successful first-generation immigrants – not outsiders, as many people think.
⠀
And that is so just because immigrants have something that people born in this or that country simply don’t have.
⠀
1. You are “hungry”
⠀
You haven’t seen much, you haven’t had and tried much, and you are eager to live life to the fullest. For example, until the age of 21, I had never flown on a plane. And now my goal is to work so fucking hard that I can fly at least every day. Immigrants have to create opportunities themselves to try what other people have already had since their childhood.
⠀
2. You have nothing to lose
⠀
You’ve been in really shitty situations before, then what to lose? Why should I be afraid of losing money if I was already living on just $300 a month? Unlike the locals I’m not afraid to take risks. Because if I have to, I can build a career again from scratch.
⠀
3. You are tougher
⠀
You learned the language, figured out the bureaucracy in a new country, and worked in a non-native language. And you work much more than the locals do to stay afloat. You adapt and become stronger.
⠀
⠀
Do you still think that it is unrealistic to become successful in a new country or do you see opportunities? Necker Island
