Polina Pushkareva Instagram – So what are the further plans for the movie business? ⠀ Tap-tap like ❤️ ⠀ Yesterday I finished acting in the movie “Russian Roulette”, but I continue to take an active part in the project as a producer. Plus I have promotion tasks. ⠀ I can already surely say that this project completely changed my life and my idea of ​​what I actually want to do. ⠀ I used to perceive movies as kind of a side hustle, like some additional activity, but now I want to make the movie business one of my main activities. ⠀ What plans do I have for the future? ⠀ 1. To invest most of my income into movies. I want to invest into 2-3 projects a year. ⠀ 2. To actively develop in acting. During the process of filming, I realized that I can act and that I can act not worse than actors who have been professionally trained. I am going to develop in this direction. After arrival back to NYC I’ll audition more often ⠀ 3. To become a certified film producer. Now I don’t catch 100 % of information other producers are talking about. I already know and feel that I am taken less seriously than other producers. The reason is not yet clear: it may be my age, gender, or the fact that I am just a beginner. But I want to be on equal ground with them, so I will continue to study in this niche. ⠀ That’s why I am really grateful to the project for revealing my new side and allowing me to find opportunities for further development in the movie business. ⠀ What does cinema give me as it is? ⠀ First, money. People who don’t know what to expect must be the most disappointed ones by the festival. I share my experience. 1. Coachella is about discomfort. The sun is scorching from all sides, dust gets into your face, it’s hard to breathe. And hanging out for 12 hours for three days in a row is just physically hard. Think about everything in advance so that you feel comfortable, and be sure to take sweaters with you. 2. Coachella is expensive For example, a taxi from Palm Springs to Coachella costs $50-200. Hotels cost tenfold, and a normal hotel will cost $700-800 per day. You definitely shouldn’t expect that it will be a cool and inexpensive festival experience. 3. Coachella is not about fun, but about blogging and showing off At some point, the festival turned from a musical one into a show of outfits, dresses and creating content. Compared to other festivals, the atmosphere here is more smug and formal. And that’s why there is less vibe. Mistakes I’ve made this year.
