Samara Lee Instagram – Today, I want to start the day off by bringing awareness to a very important cause. Not only is today ๐ Earth Day (more on that later ๐) but today is NATIONAL DONATE LIFE BLUE & GREEN DAY where we wear blue and green to bring awareness to organ donation. Both of my parents are registered donors and I plan to be also.

๐ต Every organ donor can save EIGHT LIVES and improve the lives of SEVENTY FIVE more!
๐ข Someone is added to the transplant need list every NINE minutes.
๐ต There are over 125,000 people currently waiting on a life-saving transplant.
๐ข It costs you NOTHING to become a donor.
๐ต SEVENTEEN people die each day waiting for a transplant.
๐ข 90% of the US population supports organ donation but only 60% are signed up. If that 30% would take the time to register, we would no longer lose those 17 lives per day yall!
