Sophie Willan won another award for #Almasnotnormal and this time she invited me as her plus one. And we had a fabulous time at the @royaltelevisionsociety awards with ‘Joan’ aka Lorraine Ashbourne and her lovely husband @andyserkis, Jill, Nerys and the whole of @expectation_tv (who won more even more awards!)

Thank you to @zalala.makeup who made us up and sent us out looking fabulous (as you’ll see it didn’t finish that way)

I was styled by mega babe @kim_howells, my hat was (as always) @noelstewart, my dress was another @kate.walker.studio ‘zero waste’ number and my bag was by @theballoonstylistlondon. In the words of @sophiewillan, ‘fabulous.’

In the last video as you swipe across, after the win we were asked a question; “why is Alma’s Not Normal so great?” And this was my answer. I was sorry to butt in but Sophie is so brilliant at crediting every person for their work but fundamentally, the show wouldn’t happen without her.
