My one-kit-wonder for so many years, plopped in her car seat from make up trailers to locations, pouting and brows furrowed in a face that you knew was going to stop traffic with its twinkling sweet death stare. She remained cross at every injustice (“horrible people”😋) aware of her self worth (“don’t worry Mummy, I’m way cooler than you when you were 12”), even at 4 she was determined to outsize her older sister (“Rip, to mice I am massive”) always supportive of my raging against the machine (“Here she goes again”) and even at 9, an advocate of passive resistance (“I love arguing, it’s like a Sport I could take up”) There’s a reason they’re called millennials – because they’re everything we’ve ever been and should have been and could have been and want to be. We as human beens (she’s gonna HATE THAT 😝). Oh my Bugs, only one more tragic paragraph to go… @nicoparkerofficial shines right at the centre of that, for me. The birth of everything cool. My baby.
