Johnson IV Instagram – 🚨sexual assault and medical racism 🚨 Dr. Cargle was a @UCLA medical student when she reports being forced to watch her supervising surgeon at @harbor_ucla sexually assault his unconscious, anesthetized Black male patient. Dr. Cargle authored an “anonymous” report about the sexual assault/gun. But after reading the details of her claim, the surgeon was able to ID her as the whistleblower. The hospital was made aware but chose not to investigate, despite previous reports of his sexual misconduct. She is now being terminated from her LAC+USC Orthopaedic surgery residency. NONE of this is okay. This must be investigated IMMEDIATELY and the attending must be held to account. Dr. Cargle deserves our protection and support above all else at this time.
