Cheyenne Jackson Instagram – I did #TheMaskedSinger for a couple reasons. Even though music is my first love, I’m not known primarily as a singer first and I wanted to reignite that musical passion that’s been a bit ignored. On a deeper level, though…I also wondered what it would feel like to not have people see my face or body, and try to connect with them only using the words I’m singing and the love I’m emanating through the notes and lyrics I’m sharing. And finally, I just thought it would be fun to experience and REALLY fun for my kids to see me as a 7 foot tall frog singing his heart out. And I did. And I thank you for all the love y’all sent The Prince’s way. I felt it. Thank you to my producers at @callmekatfox for letting me do both shows at the same time, thanks to my husband @jasonrlandau for being by my side, just offstage waiting to give me some water or a pep talk and thanks to my alter ego, The Frog Prince for reminding me why this tall queer kid from Idaho started singing in the first place.
