Anjali Patil Instagram – Most of you know this already but to remind again, Cannes is all about money, brands, expensive celebrity lifestyle, film business but what moves all this at the centre is a great story. This trip reminded me my Pune University days when I would watch 4 films a day on a tea and Vadapav. Here it was coffee and chocolate croissant! Walking in old lanes, observing life, people getting ready in lobbies and luxury hotel bathrooms. What I learnt again is that, a country needs to give Incredible respect for the life of its people, their individuality, the storytellers and artists of the society. Otherwise it’s all just a sham! (P.S. Please work harder, all of us that Indian cinema will not be only about singing and dancing)
