Christy Turlington Instagram – Today is International Day of the Midwife. It has never felt more urgent to ensure all women have access to the reproductive health care they need. As I reflect on the importance of midwives in improving maternal health outcomes today, I cannot help but feel inspired and motivated to make an impact. I feel so grateful to all the midwives in the world who are on the frontlines meeting women wherever they are with compassionate care. I can’t imagine my own births without my midwife by my side and wish that same comfort and safety to all birthing people everywhere. Did you know?
