Gayatri Bhardwaj Instagram – Brave. Bold. Beautiful. These words come to my mind as I tell the world about Daulat. Daulat Bi survived an acid attack committed by her own family member. But this is not a story of a victim but a story of a victor. She has fought greatly throughout her life, from seeking treatment to working as a maid and begging outside the mosque. But what astonishes me is her sheer will to fight for others. She founded her own NGO, Acid Survivor Sahas Foundation. And without anyone’s help, she opened an ‘All In One Mini Supermarket’ that helps provide jobs to acid attack survivors, and gives them hope. However, every day, she struggles to save thousands of more victims. Without enough support, she’s losing all she has achieved. She needs us! I could feel the hope in her eyes through her smile.
