Lauren Jauregui Instagram – Been a minute, just some pictures and thoughts. The world is so very violent, but also so very soft. I pray for peace in the hearts & minds of us all. The one thing and only thing that allows me to continue to move forward is Love. The Love that I feel around me and see so deeply in the power of community here online. The only thing that will move us forward is this Love..so I relax into it, I cultivate it, I connect it, I experience it, I spread it, I embody it, I express it, I move with it for myself and every single soul that I encounter in this life. Because Love doesn’t leave 19 children dead. Love doesn’t make teachers have to sacrifice their lives. Love wouldn’t want to harm someone because of the color of their skin. Love would never militarize police. Love wouldn’t need police. Love is impact these children had on their families. Love is the conduit of healing. Love is what connects us all. It is what we come from & where we will return to. It’s what will bring the imagination of a safer, more inclusive, present, loving, caring reality to fruition in our lifetimes. We can choose to get lost in the anger, outrage and helplessness or we can look at our collective pain and ask ourselves how we are pouring love & kindness and integrity & HONESTY into every single word we speak over ourselves & others & every single choice we make to be a part of the problem or solution. This moment is deeper than politics and who’s in office. This is about who’s raising this generation of babies. This is about who we want to be as humans on this Earth. This moment is one of many that has left me breathless with tears asking why, but it is the last feeling like there is nothing I can do. There are endless things we can all do to heal and the first step is inward. Cultivate joy, be as present as you can, tell those you love that you LOVE them & show up every time you have a chance. Dance. Sing. Play. Create. Cry. Do what you have to do but let yourself feel this moment and ground yourself in the power that YOU have to bring more light and love into this reality we’re all sharing.
