Linsey Godfrey Instagram – @mspackyetti has said to focus on the victims so I will stand in solidarity to focus on the innocent lives stolen from this earth. Stolen from their families and friends. There aren’t words to express what our communities of color must be feeling. The anger and the hurt.
I hope for the best healing anyone can have when their loved one is so cruelly, callously and violently take from them. I want to send love. I want to send healing. But that can’t take away what has been done. What our country constantly allows to happen.
Please honor these victims ❤️ They deserved better.

I am focusing on the victims-not his racist manifesto he wants us to make famous-but the fathers, sons, sisters, daughters, mothers, grandmothers, elders, activists, volunteers and beautiful Black people whose lives were stolen. They worked, they prayed, they fed the hungry, they fought gun violence, they wept, they laughed, they dreamed, they loved, they lived.
And they should still be here to do it.
I am so angry. I am even more angry that none of us are surprised and that it will happen again.
Because it will happen again.
One day my son is going to learn of all these horrors and he’s going to ask why, after each of the many times they happened, this country didn’t act.
Domestic terrorism is American born, bred, and perpetuated by the evil who encourage it and the feckless who fail to act.
