Pam Tillis Instagram – Behind the smiles….. words can’t even express how hard it is to watch all that’s happening on the world stage today. The gentlemen next to me is a fantastic guitarist and singer from Romania that happens to be playing with us… Alex Kilroy. His mom is a nurse at a hospital 200 miles from the Ukrainian border. All of my group.. Haley, Carson, Terry, We know how fortunate we are to be playing music and trying soothe nerves and help people forgot for a moment how scary it all seems. So grateful. Even as we play my home state of Florida a world away our hearts are very much with the people of Ukraine who are suffering, those who are working for, fighting, and praying for peace. And also the brave Russians protesting and the other countries where people are taking to the streets with a message of love and not destruction. That’s all I got for now…….. this is just starting and I’m already emotionally spent.
