Every year, we are feeding it over 8 million tonnes of plastic waste. This is entering our oceans too through rivers like the Ganga. India’s holiest river is filling up with waste every single day. And with millions of visitors to cities like Rishikesh and Haridwar, this is becoming a growing challenge. So much respect for NGOs like Waste Warriors who work day and night to clean up the mess.
