Skylar Grey Instagram – I didn’t release “Vampire at the Swimming Pool” on Halloween because the song is about not fitting in… and Halloween is the one time of year when a vampire fits in. However, I do recall many family gatherings such as Thanksgiving where I felt like such a loner… I’ve always lived in a magical world inside my head full of mystery and adventure. So when I partake in normal group activities it feels very foreign to me… and it takes a lot of effort to even have a simple conversation. I know some of you can relate to what I’m saying… luckily Elliott is a shapeshifter and effortlessly glides back and forth between realms… he speaks my language, and is also fluent in human.
