Jussie Smollett Instagram – In 2016 my brother @octarell_again released a not-so-small-film called @moonlightmov. It changed the trajectory of the images and depictions of black men and black male intimacy in film… last night we closed out #Pride month by bringing @bboybluesthefilm to Chicago with a special private screening at the @dusablemuseum and talkback hosted by T with myself and our king @james.e.hardy.9. Tarell poured into James and acknowledged that there would be no #Moonlight without the #BBoyBlues book series… I was then able to acknowledge to T that there would never be a film version of BBOY without moonlight. Community is real.
