Leonardo Nam Instagram – I remember talking with the writer/director @joe.sill when we were starting, and the anti-Asian hate crime that my character experiences at the beginning of the film was something that both he and I wanted to have on screen, because it was important to share stories of ours that were rarely spoken or shared. It was important that my character was not only seen as a victim in the film, but also as a leader of change. I hope in our own artful way we have contributed to the conversation about this. In the rise of the anti-Asian hate crimes in America recently, I am especially proud of the producers @ebfleisch @jess.varley @macygray of this film.
