In celebration of IFFD, @learyfirefighters will be hosting The Sixth Annual Denis Leary FDNY Firefighter Challenge at The FDNY Training Academy known as “The Rock”. This event helps raise much-needed funds that allow them to provide new equipment, training, and technology to departments across the country. Firefighters never go on strike, and therefore, they are often the first departments to suffer budget cuts. The lack of funding and the limited resources they receive are now even more prevalent as cities and towns across America deal with pandemic related financial issues.
