Of the many things you excel at, I can safely say you shine incredibly at Fatherhood. You have cared for Rumi so tenderly and with so much confidence from the day he left the hospital. I was watching you in awe. While I was healing right after giving birth, you changed EVERY SINGLE diaper in the first month of his life. (P.S. I am still amazed how Rumi hasn’t peed or pooped on you even once). You took Rumi out for walks and gave him the best naps. You carefully stored and helped me pack all of Rumi’s precious milk when I was too tired to get out of bed. You’ve been supporting me endlessly while I have been filming, keeping me stress-free and really encouraging me to shine.You clearly knew that parenthood came with sacrifices but you didn’t bat an eyelid. You stayed solid and steadfast and supported our family and I just kept falling in love with you more and more. Now I see how wonderfully this has impacted Rumi’s life. His face lighting up and going into the biggest smile everytime you walk into the room melts my heart. His little heart knows that Dada is his best friend, mentor and family. Adventures await now. Bike rides, swimming, hikes, camping, stargazing, taco eating and more. The world just opened up differently for you and me. I look at the two of you and get very teary eyed thinking, Gosh I must have done something right to be blessed with the best boys I could ever ask for. HAPPY FATHER’S DAY DADA!
