It’s been a strange and conflicting time to fundraise to make a film, but as is the way with this line of work, we’ve been locked in with dates for a long time – so, on we go. I do believe art has a place amidst chaos to make sense, to distract, to teach, to soothe and create space for feeling, and healing. Sounds pretentious (i guess it is, what’s so wrong with that?) & we are under no illusions. Art does not save lives – but it can be a salve for souls. It can illuminate, and inspire.
