I looked at the date and realized its been exactly six months without my beautiful sister.
We all miss her so much.
During these past six months when someone would refer to Wendy in past tense it was just crushing to me. It’s normal to do this of course, but it still always took me back, even when I did it. The other day as Julia and I were watching a movie, I said, “this was one of Aunt Wendy’s favorite movies growing up” Julia corrected me and said, “No, mom it’s still one of her favorite movies, she’s just up in heaven now” Such wisdom.
While I don’t know about having favorite movies in heaven, the deeper truth of what she said hit my heart. I know that the endless love we have for Wendy and the love she gave us during her life still exists.
It’s still present tense.
She’s just, “up in heaven now”
If you’re also missing a loved one, I pray the Lord brings hope and comfort to your heart 🤍
So thankful for the beautiful vacation I had with my husband, daughter and sister Crissy. It had been forever since we’d gone somewhere with no work involved. It was good to slow down and relax. We laughed so much, and cried a little too as we thought about Wendy and how much we wished she could have been there with us. She was though…she’s forever in our hearts. 🤍 #hawaii #familyvacay #makingmemories #downtime
When I filmed “Elevator Girl” for @hallmarkchannel all those years ago I had no idea that it would turn into such a special journey.
I’m gearing up to begin filming again soon and I couldn’t be more excited!

It’s day one on a new job for me in Honolulu! I thought I’d never been here before but my mom reminded me we were here when I was five years old. This is a pic from that trip! So today, I’m setting aside any anxiety or fears and smiling big with excitement and gratitude. I think my five year old self would approve ❤️ I hope you have a great day!

Of course I love acting and bringing stories to life, but my favorite part of that process are the connections made off-camera. It’s a unique experience. On day one we were total strangers and then three short weeks later with these special people, and I feel like I’ve made friends for life. My deepest gratitude to our wonderful hair, makeup and wardrobe team for taking such good care of us all. It was so much fun to laugh with you during this show. Laura, Judy, Cassidy, Arthur, Asia, Meredith, Audrey, Analu, I love you all!
