Lina Thomsgård Instagram – ”Stories of women: Putting words into action”. THANK YOU @gatesfoundation for this amazing afternoon about gender equality in times of crisis, a collaboration with @kvinnohistoriska at @modernamuseet. It was such a privilege to lead the panel of three brilliants minds – @melindafrenchgates, @fannandownorrby and annlindepolitiker – and hear them discuss how we can go from listening to women’s stories to build robust systems for recovery and economic empowerment for the future. (Some hints: we need more data and information about womens lives, more economic support to womens organisations, more collective work and more women at the tables where the decisions are made). So deeply impressed by all speakers and by the work of the Gates foundation. Left with so much inspiration and new knowledge. When women thrive, so do their families and communities. | Posted on 02/May/2022 21:57:02
