It’s heartbreaking to know that even after all these years of atrocities that women have had to go through for their basic rights, we’re still here. Evolution is pointless without the dignity of life that comes from the freedom to choose. These are bodies. Real human bodies that won’t be able to decide for themselves. Abortions will happen, it’s just that now they’ll be more unsafe than ever. Women will die just because biologically they carry a foetus. There will be jobs, education, livelihood and families lost. More than anything, there will be a loss of future. It is as simple as it gets : A foetus is a part of a woman’s body. A woman (like every human being) has the right to decide what she plans to do with her body. And therefore a pregnant woman has the right to abort the foetus.
