Sonali Bendre Instagram – Hello fellow readers! Life has been a bit of a whirlwind in the past couple of months. While I’m grateful for all the shoot days, I did miss reading in a leisurely manner! But now that I’ve got some free time on hand, I can’t wait to dive into the next book of the month – The Code Breaker by Walter Isaacson. I was gifted this book by a follower of SBC, @mourya, a talented photographer who I worked with on a project. He highly recommended the book and after reading the synopsis, I was indeed very intrigued… so here we are! It’s the story of CRISPR, an easy to use tool that can edit DNA, and it’s opened a brave new world of medical miracles and moral questions. It’s an examination of how life as we know it is about to change – and a brilliant portrayal of the woman leading the way.
