Just learned that ear muffs are superior to hats don’t @ me.
I have been chronically ill for years. I will be for the rest of my life. Some days are better than others. This last week was particularly difficult. For years I was told “that’s going to be a lot for someone to handle”. And it is. But a few years ago I met someone who looked at me and saw all of me, not just my illness, and chose to love all of me. I am so thankful to have a partner that’s willing to stand by my side through all the ups and downs that come with this. Who will give me back rubs when my Ank Spond is flaring up, who will draw me a bath for my aching joints, who will search high and low for the one random food that sounds palatable at 1am after not being able to eat for days, who will hold back my hair at 3am when I’m throwing up. Who takes the time to educate himself about my illness to learn all the best ways he can support me. And then is willing to do it again. And again. And still sees me as strong and capable. To those who are chronically ill, you are worthy of love. Your illness does not define you. It does not make you a burden. Please do not give up on hope for a full life I promise it’s possible!

Could I interest you in everything all of the time?
A year ago today I married the man I thought existed only in my wildest dreams. In the same place we had our first date years before. Now a year later we’re having brunch in our house singing Taylor Swift. Very happy with the year. I’d like to renew my lease please 💕

Some reusable/sustainable products we’ve been loving that have become a staple in our household as we’re working to reduce our waste! Highly recommend adding some sustainable goodies to your gift list this year 🎄🙌 @me.motherearth
