Uzo Aduba Instagram – This kid. Me. High School drama club production of Pippin. Tech rehearsal. Sitting in the art room now dressing room, backstage, waiting to go on. I remember. Those two weekends of performances felt like the entire world to me and my cast mates. Cause frankly, they were. This is where so many of us came to escape- thank you for that, Regina. Where we learned that music had wings and words held magic. That creation was cool. Where I first learned to use all of me- thank you for that, @maryannhatem Where my imagination found a home, and where a year after this my drama teacher @sarahruter would forever change the course of my life.
